It has been a crazy hectic week with an even busier weekend ahead. We have 3 parties to go to this weekend, one of which is Kate's 1st Birthday! Woohoo! Sprinkle in massive cleaning and an open house and we have a jam packed weekend.
I promise more pictures of Kate to come soon after her party:) She is changing so much and has 6 teeth coming thru right now. Poor girl is handling it pretty well but ouch!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Introducing our new blog....
Yes that's right....I've created a new separate blog for our house:) Yes I am a dork. It has all the details and lots of pictures. It was also a nice place for us to add in comments about the house that don't always make it on the realty websites.
Enjoy and pass it on to anyone who may be interested!

House for sale
You may have wondered where the heck I have been for the past week or so...well let me recap.
-Friday night Jay had his first game of the state baseball tournament...unfortunately they lost and are done
-At this same time we found a house we liked and decided to put an offer on it and sell our house (more on this later)
-Saturday spent all day busting our butts to clean our house to put it on the market
-Sunday, spent the day at valleyfair (pictures to come) and then finished our cleaning
-Monday (today) listed our house
Now that you're caught up and thinking 'What??? they are selling their house??' Yes it is true. We weren't really looking but stumbled upon a charming house that will be bigger for our family and just too good to pass up.
So now...we just need to sell our house. I'm going to be creating a blog for it soon but until then, here is the link to the listing site (click on the pictures to make it bigger).

If you or someone you know is looking for a great house shoot me an email at alnessler@gmail.com.
We have our first showing tomorrow so hopefully everything goes good and it sells fast. The house has lots of updates and we recently redid our basement (which reminds me i need to post the before and after pictures) so if for some reason we had to stay in our house it would not be the end of the world but we really want to sell:)
Now to keep our house clean at all times...this should be quite the challenge...ha. Have a great night!

Zoo
Yesterday I took the day off to spend some time with Kate and head to the Minnesota Zoo. We originally planned to go with Jen and Amy and their two girls Avery and Orelia but after some change of plans we ended up spending the morning at the zoo with Jen and Avery and spent the rest of the day just mommy and Kate. Hopefully we have better luck next time girls:)
It was a perfect day and Kate was great. Slept the whole way up and back and was excited to see all the zoo had to offer. It was nice to get away from work and just spend some quality time with Kate...it made me realize how fast the time is going and how I need to take time to enjoy life with her.
Enough of the sappy stuff and on to the pictures! :)
Feeding the giraffe...this was after Kate was sobbing
because she thought the cracker we bought to feed the giraffe was for her....

Lately
Jeez its been two weeks since I've updated...my bad! We have been very busy around our house which has contributed to my lack of blogging. Between baseball and softball games our nights are consumed. Also, Jay started a new job on Monday with Locher Brothers as a salesman. I've been busy with work and just exhausted so blogging got the back burner.
We've been on the go...that's for sure!
Other than that, just planning Kate's 1st birthday party (sigh...so sad) and busy with baseball playoffs. Its looks like its going to be a busy August as well.
Here are some recent pics:
Great Grandma Gerry and Great Grandpa Bert with the kids
Max (2 1/2 years), Liam (5 months), Kate (11 months), Lily (1 1/2)
Grandma Vicki and Cousin Liam - I have a feeling they will live their whole life with people asking if they are twins....well at least thru high school:) They've already heard it a quite a few times.
Kate is almost walking so hopefully you'll see a post on that new achievement soon:)
