15 Months

This is a tish late but here is an update on Kate at 15 months.

The stats:
Height: 30 inches (37th percentile)
Weight: 21 lbs. 7 oz. (29th percentile)
Head: 18 3/4" (91st percentile)

So little with a big head:) Hehe.
She was supposed to have 5 shots but the doctor said giving more than 4 was mean so we just went with 4 this time.

Other than that, she is doing great and developing normally with 'advanced crayon holding' - no joke, this was noted during our meeting with the doctor. Ha.

She also had another ear infection so we put her on her 3rd antiobiotic....if it didn't work we were going to have to see an ENT for tubes. Good news today is that her ears look clear! Woo hoo!

Today we also discovered that her 'messy pants' was from her antibiotics and she got a doctor's note to go back to long as she can contain the poo within the diaper. Ha, lovely. Please hold up diapers....Kate is sick of staying at home and misses her friends.

If i don't blog before xmas....Merry Christmas everyone and safe travels!

Its time to tone

That's right folks...I've decided its time for a little toning. And what better time than 4 days before christmas right?? The sudden urge to workout decided to waltz back into my life on Saturday, approximately 9 am. Before this crazy urge left I decided to act upon it and hauled my (and Jay's) butt to the Y. Only did 30 minutes of cardio but it felt great. I even went back today and by MYSELF.

Why am I blogging about this you may ask? People workout all the time. I feel like if i make a public admission that i'm trying to tone, then I must stay committed and not fall off the wagon.
So here's to two days down and hopefully not a severe derailment over the holidays.

In other news, Kate is on day 3 of 'the runs'. Fun I know. She was sent home from daycare on Friday and still had it today. I'm hoping its just teeth or her antibiotics she's on for her ear infection but will call the doctor tomorrow. We need to get better before xmas so cross your fingers.

Here's to a short week. Yay!

S-A-Double S - Y

Well Kate has been quite the 'diva' these days and definitely has been testing her boundaries. More to come on that in a future blog post....but here are some pictures of Kate...and what does a sassy girl need, well nothing more than a sassy scarf to match!

Bon Voyage!

Poor peasant woman??

A sassy scarf can get in the way of playing with ones kitchen

'Oui, Oui Ma'ma'
Yes I had to google that...sad i know

The 'yeah? Whatcha gonna do about it' look
This is the look I get often after telling Kate 'no'

It runs in the family

Kate's hair is something else....its much like my hair. With proper care and styling can look quite stunning (if I do say so myself) but left unmaned and, well....we look like Albert Einstein. The pictures speak for themselves. You should see the two of us the mornings...just a couple of natural beauties I tell you!

Give me a hug!

Do these sunglasses distract you enough to not notice my hair??

Frolicking through the living room

Dazed and confused...ha

Oh and we love eating paper these days as well...

Work it, work it

Must have been quite the sight

In other Nessler happenings....we got a new roof this weekend...well new shingles. Only one roofer fell off the roof and minus the wrong shingles being put up, it was a success (new ones still look good just not what I was planning). And I don't like surprises:)

I tried to be domestic and bake cookies today. While the oven was preheating I could smell burning plastic....couldn't figure it out until I went to put the pan in and it hit something. The smell....the melting tupperware container I threw in there to hide during a house showing. Opps.

So quite the rousing weekend if I do say so myself. A couple busy weeks ahead. Lots of Christmas shopping left to do and many social activities. Should be fun.
Have a great week everyone.
