Its time for another great giveaway from Pear Tree Greetings! Many of you entered the May giveaway and made my first giveaway a great success. Well this month, there won't be just 1 winner there will be 5. You heard it, 5 winners!

Here's the deal. I'm giving away 5 sets of address labels to 5 lucky readers. If you haven't seen Pear Tree's collection of address labels you are missing out. A-dorable and so unique! I have ordered a few different designs over the years and love them all.

Here's how to enter (its simple):
-Leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite address label design - view all the address labels here
-Become a fan of Pear Tree Greetings on facebook by clicking here. Then leave another comment on this blog saying you're a fan. If you're already a fan, that's great, you still can leave an additional comment on the blog saying you're already a fan.

Feel free to leave multiple comments telling me all the designs you love for more chances to win.

Contest ends June 30th at midnight.
5 winners will be selected at random on Thursday, July 1st.

Good Luck!

In honor of father's yesterday I thought I would dedicate this post to Jay. I could go on and on about what a great dad jay is but those of you who know him, already know.

Instead, I will compile a list of things that remind Kate of good ol' dad and every time we see these things she gets excited and repeatedly says 'dad, dad, dad' in a low silly voice while flapping her arms:
-The lawn mower
-Baseball fields/softball fields
-Shirtless men playing tennis (ha, i'm as confused as you are)
-and the one that probably would make dad the most proud....The miller lite logo.

In addition, Kate loves to go to ball games and every time dad leaves for a game she gives him a big wet kiss and says 'glood laaak' (good luck)

Then upon arrival to the ball park she lets her presence be known by shouting 'dad, hi dad, hi dad' until he waves from the field and acknowledges her. This is repeated everytime she spots him up to bat or in the field.

Kate and Jay def have a fun relationship....I already told Jay that I'm going to have to be the mean parent as he never has the heart to discipline and is always the fun

Well, short work week ahead of me. Only two days left and then we're off to Duluth with Jay's whole family. Should be a fun little vacation. Have a good week everyone!

Kate does Lady Gaga

We have a new friend in our house and she goes by the name of Lady Gaga. Whether it be dancing to gaga or singing gaga....we can't get enough of her.

First, here is Kate singing 'Poker Face' - Remixed...Kate Nessler style. (this is exactly why i don't talk on videos...the sound of my voice, eek)

And I've saved the best for last. Dance party to poker face. Kate definitely has some rhythm until one swift move throws her off balance. Obviously Kate doesn't like her dance parties interrupted and the dance party is O-V-E-R almost as quickly as it begins. I may have watched this 100 lie.

Working the catwalk

Kate loves walking in my heels. The other day she decided to put on my 3 1/2 inch heels and man can she work it! Might I add, she had them on the wrong feet and still was fierce! Note the mid-video strike a pose and 'cheeeese'.
Sorry its sideways but i couldn't find a way to rotate it.....
America's next top model....look out for this tot

Finally catching up....but on Memorial Day we went to Valleyfair with Jay's family. The weather was perfect and we spent most of the day there. Kate was a little unsure of the rides at first, but once she went on one she couldn't get enough. Sorry for the massive amount of pictures but just too cute to pass up.

Loved the carousel - i got motion sick just taking pictures

All jacked up for the old fashioned cars

Atop the ferris wheel

The little munchkin was somewhere on this ride, surprised she went on it

This place was super cool, tons of foam balls, things that shot them out, etc.
They had to close it down due to a code green.
Someone couldn't contain their excitement and left a large puddle....eww

Might I mention Jay might have enjoyed this the most
Taking out 6 year olds

The bee! Her favorite ride of the day

Pure Joy

Kate, Cousins Liam and Max on the train

Liam was not a fan of the train, ha

Of course we had to stop for an annual 3 point shoot out
or as I like to call it, the annual waste of money
Speaking of games....they have that game where the person working tries to guess your weight
Why oh why would ANY woman want someone to guess her weight....
and even more so, the women who wanted their weight guessed were not little
(most of them were wearing sports bras only or bathing suit tops)
Be proud....i'm all for it but the poor worker guy....
you could just feel how uncomfortable he was

More trains with cousin Max

Such a lover....hugs while riding

....and now a kiss

Its funny, these two did this the entire ride....intense

Yo mom

The mini carousel

Again, more hugs, this time for Liam

Headband Giveaway

Its time for another great giveaway! I was recently complaining about how my headbands never stay in place when I’m working out, when a friend introduced me to great product…Bands by Bre. Bands by Bre was started by Breanna Ludeman. She's a personal trainer in my area, a mother of two and most recently was crowned Mrs. Minnesota!

They are awesome headbands for working out and are designed to stay on your head.

Heres why theyre so great:

-They have felt on the backside which ensures they stay in place

-They come in 3 different widths (1/2", 7/8" and 1 1/2")

-They are adjustable so they will fit any sized head

-The designs are super adorable

-They arent just for working out. Theyre a fun accessory for anytime

-and they are only $4 each!

I loved them so much I actually bought 7 for myself! And now for the contest details:

The new pool

Well, the hot tub was working as a nice little pool but decided we should probably buy something Kate could actually touch the bottom in. So Jay, Kate and I trekked to good ole' wal-mart on Saturday to see what kind of goodies we could find. I put us on a strict budget (many of you are aware of the new allowances I set for Jay and myself so you know how little i was working with) and we hit the pool section. Lets just say for what crappy checkout experience wal-mart offers up EVERY time we go there....their pool selection and toys made up for!
We got a fun new pool, kickboard, fun noodles and diving sticks for like $30. Sa-weet!

It was oodles of fun and Kate now looks longingly into the yard saying 'poo, poo, poo' (pool) .

And now for the pictures.....

The inaugural swim...

Blowing bubbles is a must

Just a pretty picture

Lots of belly laughs were had

Watergun fun

Kate, Jay and Cousin Max

Gotta keep the combover looking killer for the ladies

Oh and grandma vicki brought a slip n slide!
First max....

Now Kate.....

Whoa, whoa

And finally, Jay
Does it surprise you?

We finished off the day by taking a few cuts

It was a laser

Valleyfair pictures on the docket as well as two new giveaways for June....stay tuned.
