7 Months

My little man turned 7 months old last week. He's doing so many fun things these days and his personality is really starting to show. Here's what the little bugger is up to:
-Crawling, crawling, crawling! He started crawling about 3-4 weeks ago. I happened to be home with him when he was sick one day and caught his first little scoots:) He has now progressed from scooting to full out crawling and is a man on the move!
-Pulls himself up on whatever he can
-Has 2 teeth
-Says 'Da Da'
-Blows bubbles non stop
-Starting to recognize people and gets super excited when he sees someone who knows (which i love!)
-Slowly introducing solids but mainly a milk man
-Still getting up on average 2 times a night
-thinks its hilarious when his sister sings/shouts 'Miles Jay of the milky way....hey hey hey hey!'
-Pretty sure he's waving...or maybe just opening and shutting his hands but i'm going to say he's advanced and waving:)

This past week Jay and I had a couple events where we got to enjoy a kids free night out, get dressed in our Sunday best and let loose.

The first was the March of Dimes Chef's Auction. Tons of amazing food, fun people watching and a live and silent auction. This year, along with 2 other couples, we bought a trip to Big Sky, Montana! I'm super excited as I've never been there. Now we just need to decide when to go....winter or summer. Here are a couple of photos from the evening.






The second event was our friends' wedding in the cities. It was our first time away from both the kids overnight. The wedding was filled with love, the couple was gorgeous, the decorations and food were amazing and we had an absolute blast. My body ached for the next three days from dancing so much. A great time was had by all:)

End of Summer Randoms

Looking through my camera today, I realized there were quite a few pictures I failed to blog. So, here I go with a random post which will contain a mash-up of the last few weeks of summer.

Fall Fun

Last weekend the kids and I headed to my dad and his wife, Anita's house in Nicollet. They live right outside of town and have pumpkins and a little decorated area so we decided to take a couple photos. Very impromptu so excuse the blinding sun...but cute none the less.

Jay's 30th Birthday

Jay turned the big 3-0 on September 15th. We celebrated at Blue Bricks, one of our favorite bars throughout the years and were surrounded by great friends. I had a blast and I'm pretty sure Jay would say the same:) But here are some photos give you a visual of the fun that was had....
