Girls Weekend

This past weekend, 3 of my best girlfriends and I ventured out on a fabulous girls weekend.
With the hustle and bustle of life, families, jobs and such of 4 very busy ladies it very easily could have been something that we talked about and never actually executed but.it.finally.happened!

We left Friday evening and made our way to the Twin Cities. We started with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, followed by shopping all day Saturday with a slight break for a 90 minute massage. We then capped our night off with dinner at Broder's. The food was amazing! Highly recommend....but be prepared for a wait.

On Sunday morning we made a quick stop at Ikea for breakfast (great deal by the way) and some shopping.

When we weren't shopping, eating or being massaged by men named Butch (that was the name of Christy's masseuse) we were partaking in the following: great convo, dressing room shenanigans (I may or may not have gotten stuck in a dress....in a group/locker room style changing room....with mirrors everywhere), watching and laughing at one of us getting threaded (click here for deets),  talk of orbs/spirits, and tons of laughter.

It was so nice to get away from all of our mom/wife duties for 2 days or so and just focus on ourselves and relax. I think this was the first time I have done a girls weekend in 2-3 years so it was welcomed with open arms:)

My time with these ladies are times I cherish and each of them hold a special place in my heart. So lucky to be surrounded by such lovely ladies. Thanks girls for a wonderful weekend and I look forward to our 2nd annual trip which will indeed be extended as two days was just not enough:)
And next year, we WILL be taking more photos.....I leave you with the two photos of the entire weekend.

Seriously, this burrito was a small child
